Dear brothers and sisters,

(21 February 2023) Thank you for coming; it is a pleasure for me to welcome you back to this house and to share with you the fruit of research on the current political and social situation. Rome has been a melting pot of cultures and peoples for millennia. Everyone has passed through here, and they have fused together, in a melting pot. Heir to this universal vocation, the See of Peter has always been attentive to the vicissitudes of all peoples, their efforts and their difficulties to achieve a better life, seeking to ensure that they attain the peace that the Lord promised his disciples (cf. Jn 14:26-27).

There is no climate emergency

In particular, scientists should emphasize that their modeling output is not the result of magic: computer models are human-made. What comes out is fully dependent on what theoreticians and programmers have put in: hypotheses, assumptions, relationships, parameterizations, stability constraints, etc. Unfortunately, in mainstream climate science most of this input is undeclared.

(16 January 2023) The study by the “Institute for Quality Development in Education” (IQB) on the performance of our primary school students in mathematics and German (2021) has revealed alarming results.

In all 16 federal states, performance has declined compared to the test results of 2011 (in spelling: 2016). What is particularly alarming is that the number of high-achieving pupils has declined just as much as the number of those who achieve the average standard.
